Lake Tahoe Area Bus Trips 2007-2008

A number of companies (and resorts) offer bus trips. Now they aren't always the cheapest way to go, but they are one of the nicest ways to do a day trip (or in some cases a 2-day trip) without being exhausted by the drive. Here's our guide:

NAC Ski Bus $81-$96 $42 Alpine, Heavenly, Kirkwood, Northstar, Sierra, Squaw, Sugarbowl Colleges: SJSU, SFSU, UCB, Stanford, UCD, Sac State; Also: Milpitas, Redwood City, SF, El Cerrito, Pleasanton, San Leandro Sat, Sun Cheapest from the Bay Area. No breakfast or dinner stop. No frills, but efficiently run. Offers frequent riders/referral benefits.
NorCAL Ski Shuttle $79-$95 $35 Heavenly, Northstar, Sugar Bowl, Squaw Davis, Roseville, Sacramento Sat, Sun, Wed Sat trips to Northstar, "Season Pass" to other resorts on Weds, but you can also pay per trip for a fee. Snowbomb Bus $89-$104 $49 Alpine, Heavenly (+$10), Kirkwood, Northstar, Sierra, Squaw (+$15), Sugarbowl San Jose, Palo Alto, East Bay and SF Sat, Sun, Tue, Fri Booked by Snowbomb (so possibly younger crowd), but buses run by Bay Area Ski Bus, so includes all of the above.
